saldhana

Super sick weekend up in Saldhana with some of the Boland team running the development project sponsered by Kumba iron ore. Such fun with the guys and got paid for the days work aswell. Went and surfed some west coast waves also which proved to be very fun.

Here are some photos:

Had a very pleasant holiday up the east coast. Went to Jeffreys bay to watch the billabong pro and attend numerous parties. Was great.

Did not surf much and didn't take many photos either but the ones that I got were sick. Will be sharing the prettier ones.

Such a nice day today spent walking around up the hills in somerset west. Skating a bit. Not much swell at the moment. On tuesday I shall be on my way to jeffreys bay. Pretty keen for that and should come home with lots of stories and photos of surfers ripping.

No photos today just decided to do a post to say that I will not be updating my blog until next sunday.

Welcome to the jungle punk, take a look around. Got punked today. Was driving to caves with jah, conditions were looking splendid. Was in the zone! Got the and it was smallish but breaking strangely. Anyway we headed in after a fire making session and got a few. Not what we expected!

literary circles

Sincere apologies for this belated blogpost but telkom has not been performing with the result of my ADSL line being put to sleep. However she is up and running once more.

Quite a bit has happened since my last blogpost and in just under a week we should be on our way up to Jeffreys bay for the billabong pro and we shall be attending numerous parties to share our stoke.

The tant invitational took place 6 days ago and man it was mental. We drove up the day before and got our filthy claws involved and managed to scrape a few drainers but what we really went for was the competition the next day. The night was quite eventful aswell meeting some cowboys who helped us push start our chariot.

The day of the competiton had us woken up, by the car park that has about 3 cars parked in it on a busy day, and was now filled with about 20. There was no wave in sight but by lunch time the predicted swell pulled in and it was huge. Each set was bigger and heavier and the guys were pushing themselves.

The results were as follows:

1st - Jared Houston
2nd - Mark McCarthy
3rd Johan De Goede (representing)
4th Iain Campbell
