Been interrogating the charts trying to get them to tell me everything they know. I want them to tell me where the waves will be this weekend and the week that follows. I have a few locations in mind that I want to go surf. Lets just hope Neptune plays the right cards.

Is what came to me today. In 3 days from now this time my one week holiday will have commenced. I do plan on doing a small amount of travelling in my time off all wave dependent. West coast East coast I don't know.

 

Maybe East coast for easter?

Weekend of waves. I would even go as far as to say that it was a good weekend of waves indeed.

I surfed a good amount of hours this weekend. My SLR came with me to the beach on Sunday so after collecting myself I documented some of my friends collecting.

Woke up at the wee hours of the morning in search of barrels. The barrels we got were maybe big enough for your feet but that was about it.

The water was nice and clean and the waves small but fun.

weekend warrior strikes again

Glorious weekend. Good waves, good weather, good people and oh yes did I mention good waves?

Today while in the water at Koeel bay. While duckdiving some big hollow sets, and also while sitting on my board looking at the dolphins swimming past. I once again realised how fortunate I am to live in such a crazy zone! Hoping to enjoy the next month or two of good weather before that time of the year when the sun wakes up late and goes to sleep early.

Jonkershoek cycle riding

In my small amount of off time I get each day I have started riding my 2 leg power bicycle. It has taken me to some sick places. Yesterdays quest took me too the Jonkershoek forest. Very fun cycle, super mellow, beautiful scenery.

On my jounrey I came across many other cyclists, a pod of uncorns, and a couple of football maniacs.
