Embarked on the strangest quest last night. Went to koeel bay to try and get some interesting night photos with the full moon. Watching that full moon rise over the mountain was really something else. It was like a second sunrise.

Here are a couple of photos I took before it was too dark.

Boland bodyboarding trial 1 2013

Yesterday the first Boland bodyboarding trial was run at Onrus. It was amazing to be surfing trials again. The outcome of riders was pretty impressive especially in the Boys and Mens division. There were 16 riders in the mens division and I was lucky enough to come and overall of 3rd in the mens division.

I got some sweet barrel shots at caves today. Some of the best waves I have seen there in a very long time. I managed to get epic ramps myself as well. Feeling good for trials this weekend.

The waves today were not pretty but fun non the less. Tried some funky GoPro angles with the board mount but the barrels were few. However I am now positive that the mount will work and should deliver some epic angles as soon as the waves deliver.

Not quite sure what to say. It was pumping while I was filming. It seems I got the short end of the deal. Pumping waves for the half an hour I was filming followed by approximately an hour and of half that I spent paddling.
