Tomorrow I leave for the orange river. That means this is my last time to blog in the year of 2013.
What a year it has been. I got waves, I collected good memories and I was able to do quite well academically also.
2013 has come to an end and it seems that we are now living in the future. To 2014 and beyond.

Meeting and learning
Alright yo the last week of my life has been good to me. Very mellow and most pleasant. Heaps of sun rays, brain freeze, a fair amount of cooking waves and good times.
I feel like every week I meet new people and listen to them I am learning and I like it.
I am going to the orange river on thursday say what?

whats old karlos been up to
Life has not been so groovy lately. I am generally speaking a rather groovy positive character. But the last too weeks of my life have seen me loose my groove and get slapped hard in the face by the real world I have been slaving away at a 50 hour week construction job let alone the 10 hours per week spent only on commuting.
The real world is harsh. There is no surfing each day. Hell there is barely enough time to get some exercise. I find myself spinning into a cycle of wishing for the weekends. Only to be disappointed by the activities it brings with it. The real world is a difficult place to be. I preffer living in my slightly more independent, free world. Groove on my friends.
This once again raises the question once asked by the great babylonians, are we human or are we dancer?

In the middle
Basic is clean and clean is good? Not so?
These photos are all focused on a object in the middle. Not a bad place to be.

Eden garden
After stinking it up in some south african styled waves this morning my sister and I went for a walk to this little gem of a zone and soaked up some sun and swam in the ice cold mountain water.
Viva la waterman!
